Why Visit the Casa Botines?
Located in the Plaza de San Marcelo in León’s historic center, Casa Botines is a modernist building that houses a museum dedicated to Antonio Gaudí. He designed very few works outside of Catalonia, and this building in León is one of them. Your ticket includes an audio guide for an in-depth exploration of the building's history. The tour starts on the main floor, showcasing the businesses that previously occupied the first floor: a fabric store from 1893 run by Simón Fernández and Mariano Andrés, and a bank office from 1931. The audio tour concludes on the second floor with a recreation of a 19th-century home designed by Gaudí, along with the interactive exhibition Gaudí, the Architect of Dreams, allowing you to explore other architectural wonders by Gaudí.
