Amazon Three Borders Trip
The trip departs from the Colombian city of Leticia with a pickup at 7:30 am at Carrera 11. Participants will take a vehicle to the Amazon for a boat ride on the Amazon River to explore the point where Peru, Colombia, and Brazil converge.
Initial stops include the villages of Benjamin and Islandia, known as the ‘Peruvian Venice’.
Next, the tour continues with a 25-minute sail down the Yavari River to the Sacambu Reserve. Activities include piranha fishing, with opportunities to observe locals as well. A visit to a lagoon for a swim in both hot and cold waters is also included.
A traditional Peruvian lunch will be served in the Sacambu Reserve. After lunch, the tour will proceed to search for macaws, toucans, and monkeys. Participants should be prepared with cameras.
