Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Praça da Figueira in Lisbon and depart north to our first stop, Peniche, after 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll head to the port to board the boat to the Berlengas Islands. After a short boat ride, we'll reach Berlenga Grande, the largest island of the archipelago. Here, we will explore this biosphere reserve by walking through its narrow streets and natural paths until we arrive at the Fort of the Berlengas or Fort of São João Baptista das Berlengas.

We will explore this medieval fortress, linked to the mainland by a stone bridge, and have a break to enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Next, we will take a boat ride with a glass bottom to discover the underwater treasures through the caves and grottos of the Berlengas Islands.

Lastly, we will visit the medieval villa of Óbidos, stroll along its narrow streets among picturesque houses, and reach viewpoints for scenic views of the west.

We will conclude this 9-hour day trip by returning to Lisbon, ending at Praça Marquês de Pombal.
