On this guided tour of Lyon, we'll discover the city's iconic spots such as the Pink Tower, the National Opera, and Bellecour Square.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Place de la Comédie. The tour will begin with visits to the Town Hall and the Opera House, significant buildings in this historical city. We will then proceed to the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon, a key art museum in France.
Next, we will visit the Church of Saint-Nizier, known for its gothic facade. Our route continues to Bellecour Square, recognized as one of the largest rectangular squares in Europe. Before reaching this pedestrian square, we will pass by Jacobins Square, home to the city's well-known fountain.
We will then walk along the Saona Riverside to Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon), where medieval architecture is prominent. This segment includes the Pink Tower and its Traboule, along with historical stories from the guide. The final highlight will be Lyon Cathedral, located at the base of Fourvière Hill.
After a 2-hour route, the guided tour will conclude in front of the cathedral.
