Nice Free Night Tour
We will meet at the Fontaine du Soleil Place Massena at the scheduled time to begin our tour of Nice, a city that became French only 160 years ago. Throughout the tour, you will see some of Nice's notable sites illuminated by the night sky.
The tour will cover the city's modern history, spanning from the roaring 20s, through the World Wars, to recent developments, while enjoying the city's nightscape.
You will stroll around the MAMAC and Open Sky Art Museum to understand the role of contemporary art in Niçoise culture. Your guide will share stories behind key artworks.
We will also explore the evolution of tourism in Nice, examining the influence of wealthy English and Russian elites who formed a community in the 20th century, leading to Nice's status as a premier holiday destination today.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to sample a local specialty and receive food and drink recommendations from your guide.
After 2 hours of exploring Nice, we will conclude the tour back at the meeting point.
