At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Fontaine du Soleil Place Massena? to embark on a tour of Nice, a city that became French only 160 years ago. Throughout the tour, you'll explore some of Nice's significant sites under the night sky.

We will discuss the city's modern history, covering events from the roaring 20s, the World Wars, to the city's recent developments while appreciating the beautiful nightscape.

Participants will stroll around the MAMAC and the Open Sky Art Museum, learning about the role of contemporary art in Niçoise culture. Your guide will share stories regarding impactful local artwork.

Next, we will explore the evolution of tourism in Nice, reflecting on the influences of the English and Russian wealthy elite in the 20th century and the city's emergence as a holiday destination.
