Explore the popular Quindío Botanical Garden, featuring 15 hectares of nature and over 600 species of plants, suitable for family visits in the Colombian coffee region.

Day Trip Details

The tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation at the specified time, followed by a visit to the Quindío Botanical Garden.

We'll walk along a two-kilometre main path to reach notable areas, including the Butterfly Farm, where you can observe 1,500 butterflies around the flowering plants.

As we continue, you'll see various native birds from three viewing points, enhancing the natural beauty of the Quindío Botanical Garden.

We will discover the National Collection of Colombian Palms, featuring 210 out of the 255 species native to Colombia.

During the visit, explore the Ethnobotanical Museum of Palms, the Insect Museum, and the Museum of Geology and Soils. The tour will also include insights into the local culture at the Museum of the Crossing of the Andes of Quindio.

The day trip concludes with a return to your hotel after approximately five to six hours of activities.
