At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance ramps to the Templar Castle of Ponferrada, adjacent to the Church of San Andrés.

The tour will cover the castle’s history, focusing on its important owners, particularly the Order of the Knights Templar. We will discuss the origins of this religious and military organization and its connections to the El Bierzo area.

As we explore the castle, we will ascend to the top of its defensive towers for views of Ponferrada and the surrounding mountains. After enjoying the vistas, we'll visit other sections of the castle and appreciate its vastness.

The guided tour will last an hour and a half, concluding at the base of Moclín Tower. You will then have the opportunity to continue exploring the fortress at your leisure.
