Day Trip Details

The tour starts at the Powder Tower in the center of Prague at 8:30 am, heading northwest toward Karlovy Vary. The first stop is a viewpoint that offers captivating views of the spa town, allowing you to get your bearings before experiencing its renowned curative waters.

Experience the impressive geysers that erupt from the ground, creating a 14-meter tall fountain of water. Explore the iconic colonnades and sample the healing spa waters from their many fountains, visit the headquarters of the Knights of the Maltese Cross, and see Mozart's house.

Your knowledgeable local guide will share the history of the sights you explore, including the affection Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV had for the town, the origins of the first resort built in the 18th century, its growth over the years, and its current significance. You will also have 30 minutes of free time to explore and shop for the world-famous Moser glassware.

The tour concludes with a return to Prague, dropping you off at the initial meeting point around 6 pm.
