We conclude with a visit to the Callejon de Los Sapos, it is said that in colonial times the waters of the San Francisco River overflowed frequently, flooding the Callejon de la 6 Sur. People made use of the rising river and installed some mills there. However, the stagnant water and the activities carried out in it attracted a large number of toads, a fact that gave rise to the current name of the road.
