La Malinche Cumbre Hiking

We start towards the National Park towards Tlaxcala, a neighbouring state of Puebla in a journey of approximately 1 hour and a half, once we arrive at La Malintzin National Park (IMSS Shelter) (height 3100 meters) Malintzi a space "close to the Gods" gives the opportunity to embark on a great adventure through activities designed exclusively for your fun. It is a site of natural beauty which constitutes a living museum of flora and fauna at this point we will get ready to start, we will adjust the trekking poles and we will begin the walk. The guide will be giving all the information about the national park, flora and fauna.

La Malinche began to form in the middle of the Tertiary period, about 35 million years ago. They have had several eruptions over time that have made them grow and rise.

We move to "Los Arenales" (height of 3800 meters) a place where the wonderful experience begins and a splendid view of the city of Tlaxcala, we will advance in the forest, the last part has an inclination of more than 45 ° to get to see the highest point of the Malinche. At this point, we can hydrate, have a coffee/tea and eat a little with the view of this incredible mountain.

After having been on this incredible mountain we will go to La Cumbre de la Malinche, although its real name is Malintzin or Matlacueyetl being the fifth most important height in Mexico at the summit if the weather allows it you will see the Popocatépetl volcano, Iztaccíhuatl and the Citlaltépetl.

We begin to go down to get to the vehicle and make the return to Puebla.
