Tour Details

We will meet at Centraal Station in Rotterdam at the scheduled time. Our guided tour will commence from this iconic landmark, exploring the main monuments of the city.

The first stop will be the commercial area of Lijnbaan, the modern shopping district. Nearby, we will see the ‘pixillated’ Timmerhuis, which gives an illusion of swaying in the wind, and the Markthal indoor market, resembling a spaceship.

Throughout the tour, you'll learn about the innovative buildings we encounter. We will also reflect on the city's reconstruction in the 1950s and its historical traces.

We will walk along the banks of the Maas River, concluding at Rotterdam’s most symbolic monument, the Erasmus Bridge, where you can enjoy stunning views.
