Sabbioneta Private Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Piazza D'Armi to begin a private tour of Sabbioneta, exploring its main monuments and charming locations.

The tour will begin with an overview of Sabbioneta, declared a World Heritage City. Your guide will explain why Vespasiano I Gonzaga built this city, reflecting the urban and architectural ideals of antiquity during the Renaissance. You will also learn about the duchy's connection to Spain.

Following the city walls, the tour will include emblematic buildings such as the Church of Santa Maria Assunta and the Imperial Gate.

Additionally, you will visit the Palazzo del Giardino, the Duke of Gonzaga's residence, and the Galleria degli Antichi. The itinerary includes the interior of the Ducal Palace, Church of Beata Vergine Incoronata, and the Synagogue.

Finally, the tour concludes with a visit to the Teatro all'Antica, historically used as a barracks and cinema, featuring impressive sculptures of the gods of Olympus. After three hours of sightseeing, we will return to the starting point.
