Cayo Acuario Day Trip

At the specified time, we will meet at the pier of the Casa de la Cultura in San Andres and board a boat for a brief cruise south. During this journey, keep an eye out for various species of iguanas, lizards, and native birds in the mangroves.

After leaving the mangroves, we will head to Cayo Acuario, also known as Rose Cay or "The Aquarium." This beautiful sandbank is named for the abundant tropical fish in its remarkably clear turquoise waters.

You will have approximately two hours of free time at Cayo Acuario. You can sunbathe on the warm white sands, swim in the Caribbean Sea, or visit Haynes Cay, where local food stalls are available for lunch.

Your day trip will conclude after 5.5 hours of activities, and you will be dropped back off at the Portofino Pier in San Andres.
