Cayo Acuario Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier of the Casa de la Cultura in San Andres, where we'll board a boat for a cruise heading south. While passing the mangroves, you may spot various species of iguanas, lizards, and native birds.

After leaving the mangroves, we will proceed to Cayo Acuario, also known as Rose Cay or "The Aquarium." It is a beautiful sandbank named for the numerous tropical fish swimming in its clear turquoise waters.

You will have approximately two hours of free time at Cayo Acuario. You can sunbathe on the white sands, swim in the Caribbean Sea, or visit Haynes Cay, a sandy area with palm trees offering local food for lunch.

Your day trip lasts 5.5 hours, and you will be returned to the Portofino Pier in San Andres.
