Join us on our day trip to Barranquilla and discover one of the popular cities in Colombia. You'll be enchanted by its vibrant culture and traditions - it's like a carnival!

Barranquilla Day Trip

We will pick you up at 6:30 am from your accommodation in Santa Marta and head to Barranquilla, which is around 2 hours away.

Upon arrival, we will tour the El Prado neighbourhood, known for its application of modern urban planning principles. We will pause in front of the façade of the Amira de la Rosa Theatre, named after the lyricist of Barranquilla's anthem.

Next, we will visit the Plaza de la Aduana, the gateway to the city centre. We will stroll through the narrow streets to admire the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Museum of the Caribbean.

We will then arrive at the Cumbiódromo, where locals and visitors gather to celebrate the Carnival of Barranquilla, the most important folkloric event in Colombia.

After a day of exploration, we will return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.
