Satoña Boat Ride & Anchovy Factory Trip

We'll set off from Santander in the morning and head to the village of Santoña. After a 45-minute drive, we'll reach this renowned fishing village on the Cantabrian coast.

In Santoña, we'll visit an anchovy factory called Conservas Emilia, where we will observe the manufacturing process of this exclusive product and learn about the significance of the food preserves industry for the village and its development throughout the twentieth century.

After the factory visit, we'll proceed to the port of Santoña and embark on a boat trip around the bay. During the cruise, you'll enjoy views of the coast and the marshes of Santoña, a protected natural area where thousands of migratory birds arrive each year.

On our return to the port, we'll explore Santoña. As we stroll past the fishermen's houses, we will learn about the history of the village, which has become an important tourist and fishing destination in Cantabria.

The trip will conclude near the Santander marina.
