Tour Details
The tour begins at the Goya monument in Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, where participants will appreciate La Lonja and enjoy views of the Ebro River. Next, we head to the Museum of the Roman Forum in Plaza de la Seo, featuring Roman remains from Caesaraugusta and La Seo Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will explore the narrow streets of the historic center, visiting the Casa del Deán and the Roman Theatre. The tour will provide recommendations for tapas in the El Tubo area. We will cross Calle Alfonso I and enter the 19th-century passage of the "Ciclón."
In Plaza del Pilar, one of Europe’s largest pedestrian squares, we'll see the Town Hall, Fountain of Hispanidad, and the Cathedral-Basilica of Nuestra Señora. The itinerary also includes the Church of San Juan de los Panetes, Roman walls, the monument to Caesar Augustus, and the Central Market. The Torreón de la Zuda reflects the Muslim heritage of the city. The tour ends at Plaza de San Felipe, where recommendations for further exploration will be provided.
