Immerse yourself in the stunning waters of the Aegean Sea with a captivating cruise around the Santorini Caldera. Aboard a traditional boat, you'll have the opportunity to discover the breathtaking scenery that envelops the islands.

Description

This traditional boat excursion offers two distinct options, allowing you to select the one that best suits your preferences and schedule. Kick off your day with a morning cruise for maximum enjoyment, or choose the afternoon option to experience the iconic sunset views.

Morning Cruise

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup, leading you to the port where you'll board a traditional boat destined for the enchanting Aegean waters.

During the voyage, we'll anchor near Red Beach and White Beach, providing you an opportunity to swim in the inviting emerald waters and explore the vibrant underwater life through snorkeling. Expect to encounter an array of colorful, exotic fish swimming beneath the surface.

As we continue our journey through the Aegean, we will pass by the historical Akrotiri Lighthouse, perched on the impressive Black Mountain, followed by a view of the unique Indian rock formation.

Our next stop will be the Palia Kameni coast, where you can indulge in a soothing dip in thermal volcanic pools, renowned for their rich mineral content and beneficial skin properties.

The cruise will then proceed to the shores of Therasia, where you'll partake in a delightful lunch featuring chicken, tzatziki, beans, fig leaves, salad, fruit, and a soft drink or white wine.

After a refreshing experience, we will make our way back to the port, with a total duration of 5 hours from departure.

Afternoon Cruise

If you opt for the afternoon tour, the itinerary will mirror the morning's, but in reverse order. Your hotel pickup will commence the adventure towards Therasia Island, where you'll enjoy the stunning coastal views from the boat and take a refreshing swim in the clear waters.

Subsequently, we will head to Palia Kameni for revitalizing baths in the lovely volcanic thermal pools. The route will then lead past the Black Mountain, offering views of the Santorini lighthouse and the striking Indian Rock, followed by the scenic Red and White Beaches.

As the sun sets and casts vibrant red and orange hues across the landscape, you will be treated to a delightful dinner while soaking in the incredible Mediterranean sunset before returning to land 5 hours after your pickup.

Type of Boat

Please note that on days with particularly strong winds, to ensure your safety, the vessel may be a catamaran instead of the traditional wooden boat.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup from hotels in Santorini is included in this experience. We will reach out to confirm the details of your pickup time, usually occurring about one hour prior to the commencement of the cruise.
