- 7 heures
- Bon imprimé
The guide will pick you up in the lobby of the hotel or the meeting point provided for the tour to the tunnels, which lasts approximately one and a half to two hours. Firstly, the boat will navigate the various routes through the tunnels, offering guests the opportunity to observe the surrounding landscape. The tour will then proceed to Roca Unión, a small islet situated in the open sea. Here, guests will have the chance to see a variety of marine life, including pelicans, Nazca boobies and patas boobies, as well as sea lions resting on the rocks.
The journey to the most beautiful rocky lava formations of the Galapagos takes approximately forty five minutes. These formations are known as tunnels, formed by ancient eruptions of lava that passed under the ground and collapsed, creating the arches on the water where vegetation grows out of the rocks. The crystal-clear water and sea lions fluttering between the arches provide a unique and memorable experience.
The planned activities include snorkelling with sea turtles, "tintoreras" sharks, golden rays, eagle rays, seahorses, and fish such as surgeons and damselfish. Following these activities, we will prepare for the return to Isabela. Please be aware that the drop-off point will be at Puerto Villamil's dock. You willneed to make your own way back to the hotel.
