Discover Pavarotti in his own home
The Luciano Pavarotti Home Museum is the home that Maestro Pavarotti built in the Modena countryside, in a large estate, where he lived the last years of his life.
It opened to the public in 2015 to firmly ground Maestro’s memory to his beloved homeland and to make the man Luciano behind the great artist Pavarotti better known to the general public.
Today, the house is still as Maestro left it and it can be entirely visited. It keeps all the objects he loved to be surrounded with and it displays the memories of the days spent with family, friends and students to whom he gave singing lessons.
A simple but legendary place
Every inch of this home reflects its owner’s vibrant personality. Warm light fills the space, a huge window looking at the sky illuminates the rooms – where you can find photos, paintings and letters from dear friends like Frank Sinatra, Bono and Princess Diana – while the kitchen is yellow like the sun. Opera costumes, one-of-a-kind memorabilia and countless awards pay homage to his illustrious career – but it’s the everyday objects that reveal the simple man behind the great artist.
