Sunset Trip to the Cuevas de Ajuy

How well do you know the western coast of Fuerteventura? On this trip to the Cuevas de Ajuy, we'll enjoy a magical sunset over the coastline's most famous caves. It also includes a delicious tapas dinner with views of the sea!

Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the east of Fuerteventura before heading to the western coast of the island. The journey includes a 45-minute drive to Arco del Jurado, where we will start an easy 4-kilometre (2.5-mile) hike through the Canary Islands' oldest geological space, formed over 150 million years ago.

During our hike, we will take a break for an energy bar, some fruit, and water before arriving at the Natural Monument of the Cuevas de Ajuy. This area features beaches with black volcanic sand, impressive sea caves, and natural arches.

We will admire the Cuevas de Ajuy at dusk as the sunset casts orange and scarlet hues over the sea caves.

After sunset, we will proceed to a local restaurant to enjoy a tasty dinner with views of the sea, featuring a tapas menu and a drink.

Following dinner, we will return to your hotel after a total of 5-6 hours.
