2-Day Trip to Colca Canyon

Get to know one of the deepest canyons in the world on this 2-day trip to Colca Canyon. This tour offers a combination of nature, culture, and adventure.

Trip Details

Day 1

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and begin our journey to the Colca Canyon. After a breakfast stop, we will travel to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, arriving 6 hours after pickup, where we may spot condors. Following this, we'll travel towards Chivay, stopping at villages and viewpoints like Antahuilque and Choquetico. In Maca, we'll interact with locals to learn about their traditions.

We will then stop at the hot springs of Chacapi for 30 minutes to relax before reaching Chivay around noon. You'll have free time in the afternoon and night to explore, visit more hot springs, or participate in activities like quad driving and horseriding.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will head to the upper part of Colca Canyon, passing Tuti and Sibayo and making a stop at Callalli's castles. Continuing along the Condroma Dam, we will next visit the Yauri Stone Forest and then Langui Lake.

There will also be a 50-minute stop in Sicuani to eat. After re-energizing, we will travel for 3 hours to Cusco, passing through Andahuaylillas and Urcos, before reaching the historical center and concluding the trip.

This tour includes 1 overnight stay with breakfast at Pandora Hostel (2 stars) or similar.

Trip Schedule

Pickup on the first day is at 2:30 am and drop-off in Cusco is between 4 pm and 4:30 pm on the second day.
