Meet us at the central Place de la Liberté at the indicated time, and we'll set off on our food tour through the French Basque city of Bayonne!

After a brief introduction, we'll stroll through Bayonne, known for its traditional gastronomy. We'll visit Les Halles Market to sample various fish and seafood products while enjoying a glass of wine. On the way, we'll pass by St. Mary Cathedral.

The next stop will be the oldest trinquets (Basque ball courts) in France, which includes a restaurant where we'll sample local tapas and cured meats with a glass of wine. During this time, we’ll discuss the traditional game associated with these courts.

We'll then head to a traditional Basque cider house for goat's cheese paired with quince jam and a glass of cider. We will pour Sagarnoa directly from the barrel.

Finally, we'll visit one of Bayonne's best bakeries for a traditional Basque cake and a freshly roasted espresso, concluding our 3.5-hour food tour through Bayonne.
