Barletta Private Tour
We'll meet at the time you book in Piazza Castello, in the historic centre of Barletta. The tour will begin outside the castle located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea whose origins date back to the 12th century. We'll discuss the important defensive role this fortress played.
Afterwards, we'll walk through the port and head to Barletta Cathedral, one of the most iconic monuments in the city. We'll reveal which god from Roman mythology was worshipped here.
Our next stop will be at the Cantina della Disfida, an ancient tavern where we'll learn about the Challenge of Barletta, a key episode in the history of this town.
We'll also walk along the Porta Marina and pass the Palazzo della Marra, the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, the Colossus of Barletta statue and more.
