Day Trip Details

After pickup from the designated location, we'll depart Belize City to explore the archeological site of Altun Ha. This site, one of the most significant Mayan cities in the country, dates back to the 3rd century. Visitors will explore the ruins of the pyramids and learn about this settlement and its historical battles.

Following the visit to Altun Ha, we will pause for 45 minutes at a local restaurant for a Belizean lunch. Next, we will proceed to Caves Branch, which features a river flowing through a complex of limestone caves. Participants will then embark on a 45-minute jungle hike to reach the river's start, where they will board tubes to tube down the river towards the caves. This journey lasts 1.5 hours and includes visits to the caves to view unique rock formations.

At the end of this 7-hour day trip, the tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.
