Kjerringøy & Nordfjord Cruise
- 5 - 6 horas
Looking for an adventurous sightseeing experience in the Bodø region? Join us for a boat cruise tour around Kjerringøy and Nordfjord for a maritime adventure!
Description
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll meet at the pier behind the Bryggerikaia Restaurant (Sjøgata 1). From this point in the Bodø region, we'll set off and make our way on the calm waters towards the beaches of Hovdsundet and Mjelle.
Once we've slowly sailed past the beaches, we'll eventually reach the fjord of Nordfjorden, the sixth-longest fjord in Norway, stretching 106 kilometres (65 miles) in length and situated within the Sjunkhatten National Park.
Throughout this tour, our knowledgeable guides will provide information about the surrounding environment. You'll have opportunities to take photos of the landscapes throughout this area of northern Norway. Don't forget your camera!
We will see Kjerringøy Handelsted, an 18th-century historic trading post, where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the open-air museum, consisting of 15 individual buildings, and learn about its history and heritage.
Finally, after a tour of between 5 and 6 hours, we'll make our way back to Bodø. Til neste gang!
