Chichén Itzá & Chichi Kan Cenote Day Trip

Discover the rich Maya legacy of Chichén Itzá on this excursion from Cancún, including a visit to Chichi Kan cenote and the town of Valladolid.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will occur at your chosen meeting point or hotel in Cancun. The first stop is Chichén Itzá, a significant Mayan site in Yucatán, where you will explore the pyramid of Kukulkán and learn about its astronomical significance during the solstice. You will also visit the Temple of the Warriors adorned with war imagery and Chac Mool, the god of rain.

After the archaeological site, we will visit the Chichi Kan cenote for swimming, followed by a buffet-style lunch (included if booking with hotel pickup) and a tequila tasting.

A scenic tour of Valladolid will follow, where you’ll learn about the Iglesia de San Servacio, Palacio Municipal, and Mercado Municipal. After the tour, we will return to Cancún, arriving 12-13 hours after pickup.

Important Info

The visit to Valladolid will last 25 minutes by bus. A guide must accompany you at Chichén Itzá as self-guided visits are not permitted. Valladolid access may be restricted due to special events, leading to more time spent on other activities.
