Playa Blanca Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or your chosen meeting point in Cartagena de Indias and head to the island of Baru, where Playa Blanca is located.

On the way we'll take a panoramic tour along the coast of Cartagena de Indias, admiring the scenery of the city's bay and visiting the different neighbourhoods along the coastline.

After crossing a bridge opened in 2014, we'll reach the island of Baru. This peninsula is separated from the rest of the region by a wide canal built in the 16th century, which is why locals have always considered it an island.

We'll travel through Baru until we reach Playa Blanca, where you'll have 4 hours of free time to enjoy the beach. Midday lunch includes coconut rice, patacones, salad and fried fish (or chicken) at a local restaurant, followed by leisure time to explore Playa Blanca.

We conclude this 7-hour excursion by returning to the starting point in Cartagena.
