Are you in Tortuguero and looking for an authentic experience in Costa Rica's jungle? We will meet in front of the football field to begin this hiking trail by night. The adventure starts here.
After a brief introduction, torches will be handed out as we venture into the Tortuguero Jungle. Most animals in tropical jungles are more active at night.
In the darkness, the noises made by animals will become more evident. Stay alert, as we will show you how to identify frogs, snakes, sloths, iguanas, armadillos, and spiders. If we are fortunate, we may spot a rodent, or possibly see the peccaries or tatabros.
We will conclude our hike at the starting point after 2 to 3 hours.
