Cork Harbour Boat Cruise

At the indicated time, we’ll meet at Custom House Quay in Cork City, where our boat will be ready for boarding. Cork Harbour is the second-largest natural harbour in the world, after Sydney Harbour.

Our adventure begins on the Cailín Óir ferry, featuring 360-degree views from the top deck. As we set sail, we’ll admire the harbour with its islands, houses, and views of Cork City.

Throughout the tour, we'll explore Cork Harbour's history, including its role during the Great Famine and its connection to the RMS Titanic, which anchored here before sinking.

Sailing up the River Lee and through the Lough, we will pass Villages such as Passage West, Monkstown, and Ringaskiddy, and notable sights like Blackrock Castle, which now houses an observatory, visitor centre, and restaurant.

We will continue past Haulbowline Island, a military base since 1602 and home to the Irish Naval Service. The island is also the birthplace of the Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Our cruise will take us by Fota Island, home to Ireland’s only wildlife park and the historical Fota House and Gardens.

After 2 hours of exploration, we’ll return to Custom House Quay, concluding our tour. Slán!
