Description

After picking you up from your hotel in Medan at the designated time, we'll head southwest to Lingga village. The drive will take approximately two hours.

Before arriving, we will make a short stop at Lumbini Park to discover a modern Buddhist temple, opened in 2010, built in the style of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Its gold leaf decoration and portico are notable.

We will stroll through a local fruit market before continuing to Lingga, where we will see traditional village buildings such as the rumah rajah (king's house) and the sapo ganjang (house for young men).

We will then reach Berastagi at 12 noon, where you will have two hours of free time to have lunch and explore the town. Recommended activities include visiting Taman Hutan Raya Forest Park, walking up Gundaling Hill for views of Berastagi, or visiting local fruit and vegetable markets.

At the end of your free time, we will regroup to drive you back to your hotel in Medan, where we will arrive after a total of 8 hours.
