Scotland Outlander Tour

Imposing castles, grand palaces, mythical mansions... Discover a new side of Scotland by exploring the filming locations of the legendary TV series Outlander on this tour from Edinburgh.

Tour Details

The tour begins at 60 High Street. Participants will explore filming locations of Outlander, venturing into the Scottish countryside. The first stop is Midhope Castle, known as "Lallybroch Castle." Next, we will visit the medieval Doune Castle, recognized as "Castle Leoch" from the series, which also appeared in Game of Thrones and Monty Python.

Continuing to the Kingdom of Fife, we will have lunch in the Royal Burgh of Culross, depicted as the fictional village of Cranesmuir. Afterwards, we will proceed to Falkland, representing 1940s Inverness with over 28 historical buildings.

The final stop is Blackness Castle, referred to as Fort William in the show. The tour concludes with a return to Edinburgh and drop-off at the Edinburgh bus station.
