At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start this guided tour of Mahébourg. Your journey will include significant cultural and historical sites.

First, we'll visit the National Museum of History of Mahébourg, learning about the maritime past of the region and the battles of the French and British in the 19th century. The museum's building, an old French-style colonial structure from 1772, is noteworthy.

Next, we will explore the Waterfront promenade, where we will enjoy the natural surroundings and discuss the Battle of the Grand Harbour and daily life for locals.

We will also visit the central market of Mahébourg, available for exploration only on Mondays, offering various local products including fruits, handicrafts, and textiles. On other days, we will go to Blue Bay beach, known for its diving opportunities.

Our journey continues to the Rault biscuit factory, where Mauritian cassava cookies have been produced since 1870. We will spend about an hour touring the facility and learning about the cookie-making process.
