Helsinki Private Tour
We’ll meet at the scheduled time on Aleksanterinkatu Street and begin our private tour of Helsinki. As it is a private tour, we can visit locations of your interest and adjust the pace accordingly. There will be opportunities to take breaks for tea or coffee, while we cover approximately 4 miles (6 to 7 kilometers).
The tour starts at the nearby Senate Square, featuring Neoclassical architecture from the early 19th century, including the Helsinki Cathedral, the National Library of Finland, the Tori Quarters, and the City Museum. We may also visit City Hall and the Presidential Palace.
Next, we will see the Uspenski Cathedral, notable for its Russian influence on Finland's history. After enjoying the cathedral, we will move to the Allas Sea Pool, then proceed to Market Square and Esplanadi Park, with a stop at Kappeli, historically a meeting place for Finnish artists.
In Esplanadi, we can view Runeberg's Statue, the Swedish Theatre, and the Central Railway Station. Depending on your interest, we can also include visits to the National Theatre of Finland, Oodi Central Library, Amos Rex Modern Art Museum, Kiasma, Parliament House, and the Chapel of Silence.
After 3 hours of exploring history and culture, the tour concludes at a central location of your choice in Helsinki.
