Tour Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of Hari’s Creperiê and then walk to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum to start this guided tour.
The museum features the largest collection of Minoan art in the world and includes pieces dating back to 6000 BC along with artifacts from the Neolithic to Roman times. It is regarded as one of the most important museums in Europe.
The exhibition comprises 27 rooms, showcasing the Minoan collection, Minoan frescoes, and the historical period. Highlights include the oldest finds from the island, millennia-old everyday items and weapons.
We'll see notable objects such as the Minoan snake goddess figurines, the reconstruction of the fresco Prince of the Lilies, and the Minoan gold ring depicting a ritual. Additionally, Minoan pottery painted with figures of birds and fish will be displayed.
After 2 hours of exploration, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.

The entrance fee to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion is not included. Until March 31, 2025, the price is 6EUR per person; from April 1, 2025, the price will range from 6EUR to 12EUR per person.
