The Essence of Jerez
Founded in 1850 by Pilar Aranda, the first woman winemaker in the Marco de Jerez region, Bodegas Álvaro Domecq aims to produce wines while preserving the artisan essence of the winery. Since 1998, they have been producing sherry wines, brandies, and vinegars using the solera and criaderas system, aging in American oak casks. Bodegas Álvaro Domecq is part of Terraselecta, focused on unique terroirs and native varieties, with some of their wines present in 35 countries.
