Visita extendida a la cueva de Valporquero y sus nuevas salas
- 5 horas
The Valporquero Cave is one of the geological wonders of the province of León.
With this guided excursion you will discover amazing rooms and shapes sculpted by the water in this wonder of nature.
A visit that must be made at least once in your life. Departure from León through the Torío River Valley. We will pass through Matallana (coal mine area), Vegacervera, a town known for its goat jerky and sausages, with its Roman bridge. We will make a brief stop at the impressive Hoces de Vegacervera to contemplate its rocky walls that are more than 100 meters high. We continue the ascent to the Valporquero Caves.
Located at 1300 meters of altitude. With an interior temperature of 7ºC (appropriate clothing and footwear are recommended). This visit is designed for visitors more interested in the underground world. It is a tour of about two and a half hours, the first part being in the dark, providing the front visitors with light to walk, and the second part with the usual lighting of the path and rooms, passing through new areas that have not been visited to date.
We recommend purchasing the visit in advance and that the visits be carried out with small groups.
