Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram is a historical city and UNESCO World heritage site in Chengalpattu District in the South India states of Tamilnadu. It is one of the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal, about 60 kilometers away outside city of Chennai. The city was Group of Monuments, rock cut temple by the 7th and 8th Centuries within the Pallava Kingdom. The Monuments were built during the pallava dynasty.
