We'll meet up in picturesque Piazza XX Settembre square, where we'll begin our walking tour of the historic center of Martina Franca. This route will immerse us in the history of this town in the Puglia region.

We'll pass through the San Stefano Gate, one of the baroque porticoes of the ancient city walls, and stroll to Piazza Roma square, where we'll admire the façade of the magnificent Palazzo Ducale, formerly home to the Caracciolo family, highlighting the power of these dukes during the glory years of Martina Franca.

We will continue to Piazza del Plebiscito, where the Basilica of San Martino, built in the 18th century to replace an earlier Romanesque church, is located. The Baroque façade of this temple is noteworthy.

In Piazza del Plebiscito, you'll also find the University of Martina Franca and the iconic clock tower. We will then walk through the narrow streets, observing baroque and rococo palaces. Don't forget your camera to capture memories of these monuments.

After two hours of walking, we'll conclude the tour near the church of San Domenico.
