Exploration of Envigado

This gastronomic adventure commences at El Dorado Park in San Andrésito, located in Envigado, often referred to as “Colombian Monaco.”

Our first visit will be to the Main Park, where we will savor Santarrosan chorizos. Following this, we will delight in a buñuelo and an empanada at the next stop. Throughout our expedition, we will discover the history of Medellín and its relationship with local dishes and Columbian gastronomy.

The exploration will proceed with a sampling of pan de bono, paired with a refreshing mango biche drink. Our next destination will be Pájaro Loco, a traditional bar in Envigado, where we will enjoy a beer before indulging in a delicious plantain stuffed with aborrajado cheese.

The tour wraps up at the House of Philosopher Fernando González Ochoa, where insights into the life and contributions of this notable Envigado thinker will be shared.

Odyssey Through Ayacucho

If you select this tour, we will convene in front of San José de Ayacucho church.

Our initial stop will feature buñuelos and empanadas to kick off the tasting experience. We will continue our journey through Ayacucho, enjoying a Boyacá-style arepa and a corn arepa, staples of Colombian fare. Discussions about the local cuisine and the historical context of Medellín will enrich this leg of the adventure.

Next, we will visit a neighborhood bar for a cold beer, before ascending on the Metrocable to a final tasting location where chorizo or chuzo awaits.
