We'll start by visiting the Norman Cathedral of Monreale, also known as the Duomo di Monreale. This building exemplifies the fusion between Arab and Norman art and architecture.

We'll retrace the history of the Old and New Testament of the Bible through every corner of the Cathedral, stopping to admire the colourful mosaics that decorate its walls. We will also enter the ancient Benedictine monastery and cloister, built near the Cathedral. After hearing stories of this medieval structure, we'll visit the nearby belvedere that overlooks the whole valley and the golden basin of orange and citrus trees.
