First, we'll walk through the historic center of the city to see Baroque-style buildings built with pink stone, including the Metropolitan Cathedral of Morelia, which is the symbol of the town.
Next, we'll explore Morelia's history and culture by visiting key examples of colonial architecture, such as the Cathedral, the University of Morelia, the ancient Jesuit School, the Plaza de Armas, and the Palacio de Justicia.
We'll stop at the Conservatory of Las Rosas, built in 1743, and visit the Morelos Birthplace Museum to learn about one of the heroes of the Mexican Independence.
The tour will conclude after 2 hours at this last point.
