Ría Arousa Boat Trip + Seafood Dinner + Queimada Celebration
At the designated time, we will meet at the port of El Grove to board a catamaran for a sailing experience in the Arosa estuary.
We will set sail at sunset, finding a location to view one of the most impressive sunsets in Galicia. Following this, we will enjoy a seafood dinner accompanied by Albariño wine.
The menu consists of Galician pie, a crab, a crayfish, four langoustines, four prawns, cockles, and mussels. An alternative seafood-free menu of grilled meat is available. For dessert, there will be Santiago cake. For children, the seafood will be substituted with pizza or a chicken fillet with potatoes.
After dinner, we will partake in a 'queimada', which is an alcoholic punch made from Galician aguardente and flavored with herbs, coffee, sugar, lemon peel, coffee beans, and cinnamon. A witchcraft ritual will be conducted to ward off bad spirits.
After the ritual, we will return to the port of El Grove, concluding the boat trip after two hours.
