At your chosen time, we will meet you in Piazza Castello in Otranto, located in the heel of the Italian boot. From there, we will begin a walking tour of the city's iconic buildings.

During the tour, we will admire the façade of the 15th-century Aragonese Castle and discuss the various historic periods and civilizations that have influenced Otranto, including the Romans, Lombards, Ottomans, and Venetians.

We will explore the town's streets and see attractions such as churches, the harbour, the beach, and the Monument for the Martyrs of Otranto. Additionally, we will visit the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Annunciation, known for its Romanesque architecture and incredible ancient mosaics, discussing their symbolism.
