Starting from Piazza Pinto, we will stroll through the charming historic district of this town in Salerno, arriving at the Palazzo Marchesale, the birthplace of the notable bishop Luigi Pappacoda. You might find it interesting that this significant figure was a key advocate for the Leccese Baroque style during the latter part of the 17th century.

Our journey continues with visits to two distinguished chapels and the Chiesa Madre of Pisciotta. This church, which dates back to the 16th century, is home to valuable relics and 18th-century Neapolitan frescoes... an absolute treasure of artistry! Additionally, our guide will share tales regarding the Cilento uprisings of 1840, which directly influenced the town of Pisciotta. What significant events shaped the town's narrative?
