At your chosen time, we'll meet at the entrance ramp to the Templar Castle, located next to the Church of San Andrés. Here, we'll get our private tour of Ponferrada started and begin exploring the provincial capital of El Bierzo.

The first visit will be the castle to learn about this extraordinary fortress, which once belonged to the powerful Order of the Knights Templar. We will climb to the top of its defensive towers for views of Ponferrada and the surrounding mountains.

Next, we'll stop at the foot of the Moclín Tower and then proceed to the Casa de los Escudos. After learning about its history, we'll visit Virgen de la Encina Square, from which the beautiful Reloj Street begins.

On Reloj Street, we will pass by the Museum of Bierzo, which houses an old prison from the 16th century. We will also observe the remains of the ancient wall of Ponferrada to learn about the town's defensive history.
