At 11:30 am on the day of the tour, we will meet in Praça Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in front of Casa Inglesa Café. Once the group has arrived, we'll jump right into this tour exploring one of the most popular European cuisines: the flavors of Portugal.
We'll start the tour by exploring the historic center of Portimão and its most emblematic monuments, providing a local perspective of this coastal city.
Together we'll discover Portimão through local fare, stopping at some of the most renowned bars in the city and the municipal market. This is a way to experience authentic taste of Portuguese gastronomy.
During the tour, you'll sample a rissole, a fried pastry filled with meat or fish, an empada, a savory filled pastry, a portimonense, a typical local dessert, and the famous pastéis de nata.
After a morning enjoying some of the best local cuisine, the tour will conclude.
