At 11:30 am on the day of the tour, we will meet in Praça Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in front of Casa Inglesa Café. Once the group has arrived, we'll start this tour focused on Portuguese cuisine.
The tour begins by exploring the historic center of Portimão and its emblematic monuments, offering a local perspective of the city.
We will discover the decadence of Portimão through local fare, stopping at some of the most renowned bars in the city and the municipal market for an authentic taste of Portuguese gastronomy.
During the tour, you'll sample a rissole, a fried pastry filled with meat or fish, an empada, filled with savory contents, a portimonense, a typical local dessert, and the famous pastéis de nata.
After enjoying some of the best local cuisine, the tour will conclude.
