Rainmaker Park Hiking Tour
- 4 horas
On this hiking tour through the Rainmaker Conservation Park, we'll cross suspension bridges in the jungle and see hundreds of butterflies, frogs, and birds.
Tour Details
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll travel to the Rainmaker Private Reserve, located 26 kilometres (16 miles) from Manuel Antonio. The hiking trail starts at the banks of the Seco River, where we'll search for birds, amphibians, and Morpho butterflies. These butterflies can often be spotted in the intense tropical rainforest setting.
We'll reach the area of suspension bridges, connected via platforms in the trees. We will travel for 250 metres (820 feet) along six bridges. Throughout the tour, views of waterfalls will be available until we reach Rainmaker's natural pool, where we'll pause for a refreshing dip.
After enjoying the surroundings, we'll continue the hike to a 'soda tica', a traditional local eatery, where we'll enjoy a Costa Rican lunch featuring a plate of casado including gallo pinto, along with a choice of chicken in tomato sauce, beef steak, pork chop, or fish fillet.
After this 4-hour tour, we'll drop you off at your hotel.
