The private tour of Rabat begins with hotel pickup. You'll explore the narrow streets of the Medina, rich in history dating back to the 12th century.
First, we'll arrive at the Kasbah of the Udayas, a historical military fortress at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River. Enjoy views and discussions about the Almohad Caliphate and the Alawi dynasty that restored the Kasbah.
Next, we visit the Andalusian Garden and the National Jewellery Museum, showcasing strong Andalusian influences. We'll then cross the Medina to one of Rabat's famous markets, the Sebbat Souk, featuring textiles, rugs, and jewellery.
Our last stop is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, noted for its traditional Arab-Muslim architecture at Hassan Tower Square. Over 400 Moroccan artists contributed to its decoration, and we will discuss significant figures associated with this site.
