Description
We will meet at Reykjavik Domestic Airport, just a 5-minute drive from the city center. After introductions, we will board the helicopter and fly towards some of Iceland's latest volcanic eruptions on the Reykjanes Peninsula, enjoying breathtaking views along the way.
During the flight, we will soar over mountains and solidified rivers of lava. You will witness active volcanoes from the air, with the possibility of spotting hot lava flowing. This aerial perspective offers a great opportunity for spectacular panoramic photos.
Some of the recent eruptions visible from the air include Fagradalsfjall, Meradalir, Litli-Hrútur, and Sundhnúkur, with the most recent eruption occurring in March 2024.
After a flight of 30 to 35 minutes, we will return to the starting point, concluding the tour.
