On this guided tour of Rimini, you'll discover the charm of the city and its Roman heritage by strolling next to its main monuments.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Corso d'Augusto, close to the Visitor Center, to begin our guided tour of Rimini.
The tour starts at the Roman Ponte di Tiberio, followed by a visit to Piazza Cavour to admire the exterior of Palazzo dell'Arengo, Palazzo del Podestà, and Palazzo Garampi. Next, we will go to the Old Fish Market of Rimini, constructed in the mid-18th century, and then visit Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo and the Fellini Museum.
We will cross the Piazza Tre Martiri, the site of the ancient Roman forum, where Julius Caesar reportedly declared, "Alea iacta est" ("The die is cast"). Our next stop will be Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's key Catholic site, viewed from the outside, followed by the Arch of Augustus, the city's entry gate.
The guided tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Additional Info
We recommend arriving early at the meeting point to enjoy the multimedia and interactive features of the Visitor Center, providing a useful introduction to our tour on Roman Rimini.
